Trouville Universitario is a soccer team founded in 1982 that competes in the Liga Universitaria de Deportes de Uruguay. It arose from the passion for soccer of a group of friends, students of the Juan XXIII Institute of Montevideo-Uruguay, who, looking to play soccer and continue with their university studies, decided to found a team to participate in the aforementioned League.
With the passing of time, the structure of the club has been growing and today it counts with the following categories: U-15, U-16, U-18, U-20, Seniors (main category of the League), +35, +45 and +55, as well as a Sports Field called "Campo Rojo" (Red Field).
