A total of 80 teams will participate in the 9th edition of the Donosti Masters Cup; a figure that represents an all-time record for the tournament. The number of countries represented is also growing, with a total of 8. Spain leads the ranking with 44 teams, followed by France with 24 teams, and Panama with 3 teams. The other countries represented will be the Netherlands, England, Mexico, Portugal and Switzerland. The last two countries are participating in the tournament for the first time.
By categories, the most demanded has been the +35 with 32 teams, followed by the +50 with 22 teams, and the +45 with 21 teams. In the +30 female category there will be 5 teams. As an anecdote, it will be the first time in the history of the tournament that there will be two foreign female teams; Tijuana FC and Panama Legends.
