Joma will dress the Donosti Masters Cup!

The agreement with the national sports brand is for the next 3 editions

Since its birth in 1992, the Donosti Cup has always worked with top sports brands. This is the case of Umbro, Adidas or Puma, which have been an active part of the history of the tournament, manufacturing garments that thousands of youngsters will keep with great affection. On this occasion, the Donosti Cup has signed a sponsorship agreement with the national brand Joma Sport, which also includes the sponsorship of the Donosti Masters Cup; the International Veteran Football Tournament, which this year celebrates its tenth anniversary.

The signing of the agreement took place at Joma's headquarters in Toledo. It was attended by Iñigo Olaizola, founder and director of the Donosti Cup, and Oscar Jimenez, CEO of Joma.

Joma is the most important Spanish sports brand on the current scene and is one of the top ten international sports brands. It was founded by Fructuoso López in 1965, and since then its progression has been vertiginous. It is currently present in more than 120 countries and has eight subsidiaries in the United States, Italy, China, UK, Germany, Mexico, Panama, and Brazil. It sponsors more than 300 football clubs, including Villarreal, Atalanta, Anderlecht, and Rijeka, who played against Real Sociedad in the Europa League two seasons ago. It also dresses the national football teams of Ukraine, Romania, Cuba, and Honduras, among others.

Thanks to this agreement, the Donosti Cup will have a ball designed exclusively for the tournament, which will be available for purchase before the summer in several shops in San Sebastian, and with which all the matches of the championship will be played. The sports brand will also dress the tournament staff and will give all participants a personalized polo shirt with the tournament logo.

Joma has chosen the Donosti Cup because it shares the values promoted by the tournament. Óscar Jimenez, CEO of Joma, said at the signing of the agreement: "This partnership is an opportunity to continue growing in football, a sport so deeply rooted in our history. From Joma, we will work to strengthen the trust between the brand and the club. This bond will be strengthened throughout the duration of the agreement".
