In a move that seeks to satisfy the demands of the participating clubs, the sports management of the Donosti Masters Cup has announced a change in the men's category +55 years old. This year, teams will compete in 8-a-side soccer instead of 7-a-side soccer, thus allowing the inclusion of an additional player on the field.

The decision comes after careful analysis of the requests of the clubs registered in this new category, who expressed their interest in having greater flexibility in the alignment of their teams.

Under this new modality, teams will be able to field 7 players plus a goalkeeper, allowing for rotational changes during the course of the match. This measure seeks to facilitate the participation of teams in the +55 category, thus promoting a more inclusive and dynamic game experience for all participants.
