This afternoon at 5:30 p.m., the 12th edition of the “Donosti Masters Cup 2026” International Football Tournament gets underway. This afternoon’s matches will be played at the Puio, Martutene and César Benito football grounds in San Sebastián. A total of 42 matches will be played this afternoon.

It should be noted that a one-minute silence will be observed before the opening matches at each venue following the recent passing of the wife of Javier Garmendia, coach of the Real Unión veterans team.

Tomorrow morning, the number of pitches will increase to eight playing fields, including the two artificial turf pitches at the Real Sociedad training complex, which returns as one of the tournament venues. The remaining venues will be Puio, Martutene, César Benito, Jesús Mari Zamora (Rentería), Karla Lekuona (Oiartzun), and Ugalde-Ventas (Irún).

The final stage and the finals will be played on five pitches: Zubieta 5, Puio, Martutene, César Benito and Karla Lekuona (Oiartzun).

All matches will be officiated by referees from the Gipuzkoa Referees Committee, and most of them will be broadcast live through VEO smart cameras.

Participants, who will be covered by private accident insurance, will receive a complimentary polo shirt, while the winners will receive the corresponding trophies and medals.
