The 3rd edition of the International Veterans’ Football Tournament "2016 Donosti Masters Cup" is already underway. Once again, the tournament will be held during the first weekend of June, from Saturday 4 to Sunday 5. The tournament will have two categories, one + 35 years and the other + 45 years. The capital of Gipuzkoa will gather again for the third consecutive year, veteran football teams from different countries. In the last edition, there were teams from France, England and Spain, and next year we expect to make the list...

The second edition of the tournament for plus 35 and 45 years old teams met in San Sebastian twelve teams from France, England and the Basque Country. After the success of the tournament held last weekend that gathered 200 players plus 50 years old in our city, this weekend has been the turn of players 35 and 45 years old who enjoyed an intense weekend

You can already see the schedule of matches of the II Veterans tournament “Donosti Masters Cup”. The matches will be played at the Miniestadio of Anoeta. The matches of the 1st round will be of 25 minutes and the matches of the play off of 30 minutes each

The French club Caulonque has registered two teams, +35 and +45, in the second edition of veteran’s tournament. This club participated in the first edition of the tournament under the name of Jadax. They played the semi-final against a Spanish team, Sanagus, and they lost it in the penalties, so they played to get the third place against a Basque team Ttipi-Ttapa. Finally, after a great match they get the fourth place....

This week, two teams from England have confirmed their participation in the Donosti Masters Cup. Both teams are created with Spanish players that are working in England for many years now and every Sunday met together to play football. In the tournament, we are going to know them under the names of Battersea Park and Battersea Park Rangers....

The French club Espagnol de Orleans is the foreign club that has participated in more editions of the Donosti Cup: specifically in 17 editions. Last year, when we told them that we put up the veterans tournament, they did not hesitate: they formed a team with many of the coaches that have come to the Donosti Cup over the years with their teams and they participated in the first edition of the tournament. The Espagnol de Orleans was one of the three teams that opened the Donosti Masters Cup playing the opening match against the Real Sociedad and the Modalcoy from Alicante....

As we told you some weeks ago, we already have a lot of clubs interested in participating in the second edition of the veterans tournament Donosti Masters Cup that will be hold from the 5 to 7 June. On the one hand, for the +50 tournament that will be hold the weekend before we already have teams confirmed from United States and England. On the other hand, for +35 and +45 tournament, we already have some Spanish teams...
