In view of the situation generated by the Covid-19 outbreak, the Organizing Committee of the International Veterans Football Tournament "Donosti Masters Cup" has decided to postpone the celebration of this next edition until a new date. At this moment, it is not certain that sporting events can be held in June, it does not seem likely either that journeys among countries or among communities will be allowed. For this reason, and looking after the health and safety of the participating teams, we have made this decision.

Our wish is to be able to hold the tournament in September or in the month of October, but as we do not have guarantees at this moment that sporting events will be able to be held on those dates, we prefer not to set a specific date yet. We want to wait on the one hand the announcement of the Spanish Government about when sports events are going to be allowed, and on the other hand, the advices of health authorities about the guarantees about the celebration of the 7th edition of the Donosti Masters Cup this year. As soon as possible, we will get in touch with all the registered teams again to inform them about the new expected date.

We still wish to hold the tournament this year and we will continue doing all our best so that the interested teams can once again enjoy, with guarantees, a beautiful weekend in San Sebastián playing their favorite sport.
