The Cup will again be a must-be-attended event nationwide

Great new to start the summer with as there will be almost 50 teams attending the 7thedition of the Donosti Masters Cup, nearly the same amount of teams as in its last edition. Attending teams will come from, Cataluña, Madrid, Aragón, Valenciana, Asturias, Navarra ro Euskadi, together with a good number of French squads.

The Cup will be have new dates. Traditionally, it is run the first weekend of June but this year it will be played from the 2ndto the 4thof July. Teams coming to the capital of Gipuzkoa will enjoy a weekend full of sport, leisure and gastronomy.

There will be 4 categories in the Tournament: Men +35, +45 & +50 and Women +30. Actually, the number of attending women teams has increased, offering a really attractive category.

From France, there will be 15 attending clubs, some of them even enrolling teams in different categories: AS Courneuvienne, Asoc. Veterans Hendayé, Aviron Bayonnais, Bonneuil CSMB, Bordeaux RD, Cesson, La Valette, Le Bon Jouet, MNVDB FC, Montgeron Football ES, Municipaux Villenave CS, Neully Sur Mane SFC, Pont Du Casse, Spiritus-AS Beauzelle or Villeneuve La Garenne.

There will also be teams from Navarra, as El Tío Baliz, Veteranos Jaca (Aragón), Centro Asturiano Oviedo (Asturias), Veteranos de Castellón (Valencia) or teams from Madrid such as Sanagus, Olympia or Tres Cantos. Catalonian teams attending this year: CC La Historia, US Sants, Olimaja, Athletic Sant Just or Atipics BCN. And finally from Euskadi: Hondarribia, Real Unión, Talleres Andiano, The Blacks, Akabauak, La Banda Argentina, Nekaezinak, Tippi Tappa and Intxaurdi KE.

The Tournament starts on Friday with the first games of the on-leg league, rest of the fixtures being played on Saturday morning. Play Offs and finals to be played on Saturday afternoon. In the following days more information on the event will be released. Ongi Etorri!
